Step back in time with this striking Art Deco- Art Nouveau brooch, showcasing intricate and one-of-a-kind designs that will surely catch your eye. The center boasts a brilliant clear blue stone in a bold square shape, surrounded by a delicate arrangement of four flower-shaped clusters with a dazzling blue round stone at its core, adorned with elegant swirls and scallops. The main blue stone features a subtle chip on its backside, and the brooch itself measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/2”, complete with a C-clasp closure. It is most likely of European origin, due to the shape of the center stone and metal work.

The intricate, open metalwork (filigree) design is characteristic of Victorian  and Art Nouveau jewelry, which often used brass or gold-toned metal. The specific pin mechanism- the open C-clasp, usually pinpoints it to the early 1900s. What a lovely way to add style to your wardrobe!
