This 1956 issue of McCall's magazine has Nancy Berg dressed in satin Christian Dior and photographed by John Rawlings on the cover: that by itself makes the magazine a must-have. Articles include "The Teenagers' Case Against Parents," "The 100 Best Books for Children" and "What Shall I Wear?" a condensed book by Claire McCardell, who was one of the most influential designers of women's sportswear.
