Felix the Cat Vintage Push Up Puppet Toy

This is a seriously cute push-up wooden puppet toy showing beloved cartoon character Felix the Cat. Remember "Felix the cat, the wonderful wonderful cat" ? He had his own animated show from 1958-1961 and transfixed and amused audiences for decades by getting out of various scrapes using solutions from his (literal) bag of tricks.

A movie was made about his further exploits in 1988, and this push up puppet likely originates from then. He stands on a round platform, decorated in yellow, black and red. The "floor" is red. His name is spelled out in black capital letters. The entire piece measures 4.5" and the figure itself measures about 3.5"
