Along The Chester- Illustrations of the Eastern Shore of Maryland

This is an excellent souvenir of places of interest and beauty along the Chester River on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It contains seventeen beautifully rendered drawings by Jack R. Schroeder. There are sketches of several locations in Chestertown: the Henson-Ringgold House, Queen Street, High Street, the Kent County Courthouse, adjacent to Court Street (Lawyers’ Row), buildings at Washington College, and Water Street. There are views of River House, Widehall, Rich Hall, Tolchester, Sterling Castle, and others. 

This book was published by the Friends of the Kent County Library, Inc., and supported by local businesses. The descriptions of each location were written by Joan Wise. "Along The Chester" measures 13.” Inches by 10” inches.
