If you love vintage jewelry with a story, this gorgeous Miriam Haskell butterfly brooch is bound to steal your heart. Haskell was famous for making jewelry that felt like wearable art, and this piece is the perfect example.

It features a beautiful, double-layered wing design made from incredibly detailed gold filigree. Because the metal is layered, it has this amazing 3D effect that looks like a butterfly caught mid-flight right on your lapel. Look closely at the wings—the lace-like metalwork mimics real butterfly wings beautifully. It’s finished in Haskell’s famous "Russian Gold" plating. It gives the metal a rich, warm, antiqued look rather than a shiny, modern gold. It feels completely timeless! It has a secure pin stem with a rolling safety clasp. The pin stem has a slight bend, and I didn't want to risk damaging by trying to straighten it. The clasp works perfectly fine. The brooch measures 1.5" across.

This piece is fully signed with the classic oval "Miriam Haskell" stamp on the back, so you know you're getting the real deal from one of America's greatest costume jewelry designers.

There are many ways to wear the brooch, so not only as you getting a special piece of jewelry, you can wear it so many ways.Brooches are making a massive comeback! Pin this beauty onto a denim jacket, the lapel of your favorite winter coat, or use it to secure a cozy scarf once fall arrives.  It also looks stunning pinned right to the collar of a crisp white button-down piece, as the centerpiece of a sundress' necklace and more.
