Walt Disney's "Disneyland on the Air" Little Golden Book (1955)

The charming children’s book, “Walt Disney’s “Disneyland on the Air” told by Annie North Bedford, adapted by Samuel Armstrong and illustrated by The Walt Disney studio, was published by Simon and Schuster as part of the venerable Little Golden Books series, #251.  It 8" tall, by 6 1/2 " wide. Donald Duck, dressed in evening formal attire, arrives at the Big Show, Disneyland on the Air, taking place at the Opera House. Mickey Mouse, also dressed in formal wear, appears. Things turn out differently than he expects! This book was published to commemorate the opening of Disneyland.
