This medal is made of pewter and depicts the two Popes around the time of Vatican II. On the reverse is a lovely image of the Madonna and Child. The medal is framed in gold metal and has a bail so that it can be worn as pendant or charm. It measures about 1 1/4' around, about the size of a US quarter. It has various tiny markings and one reading "Italy".
